Quinot Consulting was created in 2023 by Marinelle Quinot (CA) SA to introduce a fresh perspective to financial management needs by offering a unique approach – Fractional Financial Management.
After having spent more than 20 years in a wide range of different environments, Marinelle identified the need to shift the modality of high-end accounting and financial services from a traditional salaried, full-time role to a tailored offering based on each enterprises’ distinct needs. This is the concept of Fractional Financial Management that is the foundation of Quinot Consulting.
Marinelle completed her B Acc and B Acc Hons degrees at Stellenbosch University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (registered with SAICA) in 2006. She obtained a wealth of experience in a broad spectrum of different business environments. These ranged from auditing in the Big Four context to full accounting and financial functions at start-up, SMME, Non-profit, JSE-listed and multinational companies. Her experience includes everything from primary accounting to financial management; system transition, optimisation and implementation; engagement with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors, SARS, and service providers; and many more aspects of a finance division. She has served in many different positions from auditor to accountant to financial manager, group financial manager, financial director and CFO.
Today Marinelle brings her extensive experience to select clients through Quinot Consulting on a fractional financial management basis. This allows for a cost-effective solution for any business, enabling clients to benefit from a wealth of experience and skills on a fractional basis, precisely tailored to each organisation’s needs without the overhead costs associated with a full-time finance manager.
